If you’re goal is toned and sleek arms, you need exercises for your biceps, triceps and your shoulders (your deltoids). Don’t be surprised if your biceps feel stronger than your triceps, this is normal, simply use different size weights for the various muscle groups or modify the amount of repetitions in each set. But never sacrifice form for intensity – listen to what your body is saying! And if you’re body is saying, “that is too much”, it probably is.
Arm Curls:
To tone your biceps, which is the front of the arm, start with bicep curls. To begin, your arms should be straight with your elbows directly under your shoulders, now simply bend your arms (without moving the elbow) and lift the weight towards your shoulders.
Triceps:
To sculpt the back of the arms, you will need to work your triceps. Triceps dips are a great exercise! Sit on a chair and place your hands on either side of your body with your fingers facing your legs and bend your arms lowering your body then lift your body by straightening your arms.
Shoulder Exercises:
The deltoids are the muscles in your shoulders and a nicely shaped shoulder really looks nice! To sculpt your shoulders you will need to exercise your deltoids. Standing with your feet hip width and your knees soft, lift your straight arms from your sides up to shoulder level and then lower back to your body.
